Tiny Troops Soccer is a year-round soccer program for ages 2-4 years old. We focus on teaching developmental soccer skills that help prepare little ones for recreational league soccer when they are older. Our program features trained coaches who utilize a lesson plan at every class. We teach a variety of soccer skills, listening activities, and other gross motor skills through fun games. Every child brings a ball, which allows them to get as many touches on the ball as possible during a class. We offer up to 6 sessions at a location throughout the year. Each session includes 6 classes. We schedule makeup dates in case of weather or coach emergencies. 

How many sessions and classes are there?

There are up to a total of 6 sessions offered throughout the year at each location. Each session includes 6 classes.

If applicable, make-up classes are offered during the final weeks of the session. 

All locations will run classes on Saturdays, with some locations also offering weekday sessions as well. Makeup sessions will be held on Sundays, and you will receive pre-scheduled make-up dates in your informational email after registering. Please remember that makeup dates are only used if there is a coach emergency or the weather causes a cancellation.

Session costs depend on the age of your child. Each session includes 6 classes.

  • 2 year old $85
  • 3/4 year old $95

Each class provides high-quality activities and skill-building fun. All coaches follow a set lesson plan, ensuring that your little one’s class is filled with fun and learning from beginning to end!

Yes, Tiny Troops Soccer offers a $5 off for each sibling per subscription installment. Please message us on Facebook or send an email to info@tinytroopssoccer.com prior to registering to receive a code to apply at checkout during the registration process.

Session Registration begins on our website, www.tinytroopssoccer.com. First, select your region. On the next page, available locations and sessions will populate. Select the location and session you wish to register for. Then follow the instructions on the next few screens to complete registration.
 
*Registration begins on the 16th if the 15th falls on a Sunday.*

Waitlist families will be contacted via email if a spot opens up in the next session. Once the email is sent families will have 72 hours to respond and secure the available spot and complete payment for their player. If no response is received within 72 hours the spot will be offered to the next player on the waitlist and their player will be removed from the queue.

*During the registration period that the waitlisted player is initially waitlisted, TTS may reach out with other session times/day availability. If the waitlisted player chooses to take that offer they will be removed from the queue/waitlist.

No! Tiny Troops Soccer utilizes a subscription service. When you register your child for their first session, you agree to enter our subscription service.

When enrolling in a 2023 session you will pay the current installment and be automatically enrolled in autopay for the remaining installments. If you are enrolling part-way through the year you will pay the current month's installment and be automatically enrolled into auto-pay for the remaining installments.

Session fees are paid bi-monthly for each six-week session. 2023 installments are 12/15/2023, 02/15/2023, 04/15/2023, 06/15/2023, 08/15/2023, 10/15/2023.

If you are interested in registering your child past the registration cut-off for a session, but before the session begins, please send us a message on Facebook or an email to info@tinytroopssoccer.com. In your message, please include the location you are inquiring about, and the age of your player. Once we receive your message, we will check for open spots.

Mid-Session Registration is also available. Mid-Session Registration dates can be located in the graphic below. Players enrolled mid-session will attend the last 3 classes of the current session. They are then automatically enrolled in our subscription service, and payment will automatically be deducted for the next session. 

While we would love for all little ones to join us on Soccer Island, your child must be turning 2 during the session they are being enrolled in. 

Example: Your child is 22 months old, and you wish to enroll them in the March/April session. As long as your child's 2nd birthday occurs before the end of April, they are eligible to play in our 2-year-old Parent and Me sessions.

When registering your player for a session, they must turn the required age during the two months that the session runs.

Example: Your child is currently 2, and you would like to register them for the 3 and 4-year-old age group at your location for the July/August session. Your child's birthday must fall during July or August in order for them to be eligible for that age group session. 

Subscriptions

When you register, you will be enrolled in our subscription service for 2023. You will authorize Tiny Troops Soccer to enroll you in a subscription service at that time. When enrolling in a 2023 session you will pay the current installment and be automatically enrolled in autopay for the remaining installments.

Session fees are paid bi-monthly for each six week session. 2023 installments are 12/15/2023, 02/15/2023, 04/15/2023, 06/15/2023, 08/15/2023, 10/15/2023.

If you want to remove your child from the next session and stop/cancel your subscription, please submit our Cancellation form.

Cancellation cutoffs for each session are as follows, to cancel for:

  • Mar/Apr Sessions must be canceled no later than 02/13/2022
  • May/Jun Sessions must be canceled no later than 04/13/2022
  • Jul/Aug Sessions must be canceled no later than 06/13/2022
  • Sep/Oct Sessions must be canceled no later than 08/13/2022
  • Nov/Dec Sessions must be canceled no later than 10/13/2022

To cancel your subscription you may submit a Cancellation form on our Cancel My Subscription page at any time. Please note that your player will be removed AFTER the final class of their current session.  No mid-session cancellations will be accepted/refunded.

If your location is not running, you will be notified and your payment paused. When sessions resume, you will receive an email notification. This verifies that you want to resume sessions and payment.

When you register your child, you enter into a subscription service that automatically holds your child's spot and pulls payment on a bi-monthly schedule. Subscriptions will end when your location holds the last session for the year.

When your location opens again in the new year, you will need to register your child to begin a new subscription.

Subscriptions/Registrations do not carry over from year to year.

Equipment

Every child needs to bring the following to every class: 

  • athletic clothing suitable to the weather
  • a size 3 soccer ball
  • close-toed shoes (cleats are optional)
  • water to drink

Yes, every child must bring a ball. Children learn by getting as many touches on the ball as possible! You can purchase a customized TTS ball during the registration process, or bring your own.

Your child will a size 3 soccer ball. These can be purchased at any location that sells sporting goods.

We understand mistakes can happen and balls can be forgotten at home. Every coach keeps a spare ball on hand for Tiny Troopers to borrow for a class.

Shin guards are optional for the 2 to 4-year-old sessions. and required for the 4.5-5.5 yr. old Advanced Skills session*. Cleats are optional for all ages. However, close-toed shoes are required.

* 4.5/5-Year-Old sessions are only available in Kadena and Lejeune at this time.

There are up to 6 total sessions run during the year. Not all locations will run all 6, as many take winter breaks. Most locations will run at least 5 sessions during the year, as long as they are staffed and able to run.

Each session will include 6 total classes. Make-up days are added to the schedule if a weather or coach emergency warrants it.

2-year-old classes are 25 minute Parent and Me classes, 3 & 4-year-old classes are 45 minutes, and 4.5-5.5-year-old classes* are 55 minutes.

* These are only held at Kadena and Lejeune at this time.

Session times and days will vary by location. All of our locations run Saturday classes. Some locations may offer additional weekday classes as well.
Most of our locations hold sessions off-base at local parks or other recreational areas, usually no more than 15 minutes from the base. These locations are open to both civilian and military families.
 
Some locations may hold sessions on the military installation. For these select locations, a DOD ID will be required to access the location. No visitor passes will be given by Tiny Troops Soccer for on-base locations. 
 
To find out if the location is on or off base, visit the Region page for your child's location. Then look for the Field Location area. If the base/city name is listed, then sessions are held off-base. If the name of the base is the only thing listed, then sessions are held on the base and require a DOD ID to access.

No. You will meet at the same time and place each week. If a field change is warranted, Tiny Troops Soccer will send notification via email about the change.

This depends on the age of your child. 

2-year-old sessions are Parent and Me, and are not combined with any other age. One parent or other adult is on the field with the child at all times during the class.

3-year-old sessions can be run separately from 4-year-old sessions, or may be combined. Both ages use the exact same lesson plans. It is up to the parent to decide if they prefer the mixed age grouping, or if they would prefer to be in a group where both ages are separated.

We keep our sessions and classes small to allow coaches to interact and work with players as much as possible.

2-Year-Old Sessions/Classes: All 2-year-old sessions have a max of 8 players on the field, plus a parent/guardian for each of those players.

3-4-Year-Old Sessions/Classes: Our older sessions have a max of 10 players on the field.

Yes. A parent/guardian must be at each class for the duration of the class to help with water breaks and child participation (if having trouble listening to the Coach, staying on Soccer Island, keeping hands to themselves, etc.).

*We require one parent per child to participate on the field for the entire class for 2-year-old Parent and Me groups.

Our program offers skill-building sessions. Unlike other youth soccer programs, our 3 & 4-year-olds only scrimmage for a few minutes during classes 2-6. This maximizes the time spent on age-appropriate skills. We also incorporate games in lesson plans that help prepare Troopers for scrimmages. 

No. For the safety of your child, snacks may not be given. We do not want them to bring their snack onto the field and begin play, as this creates a choking hazard. Please bring plenty of water, as that is all they will need.

No, Make-ups are only offered if a class is canceled by us due to a weather or Coach emergency. Make-up sessions are built into each session schedule and occur at regularly scheduled times on select Sundays. 

If you need to contact the coach to let them know of the absence, please send a message to our Facebook page, or an email to info@tinytroopssoccer.com and we will let the coach know for you.

Tiny Troops Soccer's makeup policy is as follows:

  • We preschedule 2 make-up classes at all locations for canceled classes due to weather or coach emergencies.
  •  Make-ups classes are generally scheduled on Sundays within the final 2 weeks of classes at regular class times.

Make-ups, refunds, and credits are not available for missed classes due to personal reasons. (vacations, illness, etc.)

Soccer is an outdoor rain or shine sport! If conditions are deemed dangerous and a weather cancellation is necessary, the decision will be made 45 minutes prior to the start time of class.

  • Cancellations will be posted in the League Apps app/your account under the events/schedule section.
  • An email and text (if opted in) will also be sent with the rescheduled date and time.
  • If there is no notification, classes are a go!

If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, a makeup day will be scheduled. This information will be included in the cancellation email.

Miscellaneous

Yes! Most of our locations offer sessions off-base. Please note that on-base sessions are only available to military-card ID holders. We do not issue passes or vouch for them.

We have now switched to a fulfillment company for all of our merchandise. We take orders during registration periods between the 15th and 24th of each month. Kit prices have been updated and include shipping costs. All Player Kits will be shipped directly to your home and arrive no later than the day prior to the 1st class of the session.*
 
* Japan and Guam kits will be handed out at the first class of the session by the Coach.
